A Hot Lagoon Beach on Fernando de Nanhora-

The other side of the Island looked completely different. Here there was a large and shallow warm lagoon. The beach was deserted. Maybe it had to do with the fact that it was the high noon and everything was scorching hot.

So here we were on an island, which is on the equator, at noon, with no shade. No amount of sunscreen will keep you from getting burned if you are out more than an hour. So we took advantage of the slight breeze and some twigs to construct a shade. We were like McGyver. It worked awesome! No sunburn for us.

This is a rear view of our Robinson Caruso-like experiment. It was a pure lesson on how to creatively get out of the hot sun with the fewest materials. We would have left the beach sooner but had to wait for the cab to come back at the previously agreed upon time. So until people showed up we decided it would be a good time to go skinny dipping. Why not take advantage of the deserted environment?
