Capetown's Mountain Views

Above the city sits table mountain. On the day we went up the cable car a helicopter was supplying parts to the top of the mountain.

The city is seated inside mountains. To the left a peak protects the city from the sea.

Here is a view from the side mountain.

This is a close up of the harbor and the top notch Waterfront Mall where we spent much time watching movies and browsing.

A great view of the exclusive neighborhood of Clifton Bay.

Tiffany took a vineyard mountain biking ride with Adam from an adventure sports tour company.

Here is the trail down table mountain which was very rocky.

Hans poses with Adam at the middle point of the downhill run.

Adam also gave Hans some wave surfing lessons the day before.

Part of Adam's end of trail celebrarion ritual is to jump from the top of this water fall. It's about a 40 foot jump (~13 meters). Hans followed Adam up and then it semed easier to jump than to climb down. No one else in the group was crazy enough to follow the two up and then down the fall. The pool was not that large when you looked down on it from up there.
