Cape Point - Where the Indian meets the Atlantic Ocean

The ocean views are beautiful. Here a shipwreck signals the dangers found in the sea.

The Indian Ocean at Simon's Town on the way to Cape Point.

There are some beautiful beaches at Cape Point National Reserve. The sea is very cold and the waves and currents are strong - not swimming beaches, but they do provide fantastic scenery.

Here Tiffany poses just before the very southern tip of the continent of Africa. On the right we have the Atlantic Ocean and on the left we have the Indian Ocean.

At the reserve we heard all about baboons attacking tourists but we never one monkey. We did see other animals like this mountain squirrel

There was also some large lizards.

Here is a view of the Atlantic Ocean on the way back to Cape Town. I considered launching from this point but with no one to windsurf with it wasn't a good idea.
